The Executive Team

The Executive Team is led by the Co-Presidents and includes all the Officers of the HUA. The Executive Team must meet regularly in a manner that facilitates productive action. 

The Co-Presidents are responsible for meeting directly with the Dean of Harvard College, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the President of Harvard University on a regular basis. The Co-Presidents are also responsible for reaching out to College and University-wide Deans to negotiate student representation in university discourse and policy making. The Co-Presidents must report their findings back to the Executive Team at its meetings.

In a collaborative process with all officers, the Co-Presidents are responsible for proposing the HUA’s budget for each Team once per semester. A simple majority of the Co-Presidents and Officers must vote in favor in order to approve or change the budget.

The Co-Presidents, with the assistance of their Executive Cabinet, are also responsible for communicating to the student body on behalf of the HUA by maintaining a website, using social media, limited email correspondence, and any other appropriate means.
